1) Aktiphos AB12X Series Corrosion and Scale Inhibitors
a. Properties and Applications
Aktiphos AB12X series corrosion and scale inhibitors are compound corrosion and scale inhibitors composed of multiple organic phosphonic and carboxylic acids, a copper corrosion inhibitor, a special surfactant and a highly effective dispersant, etc., can form stable complexes with multiple metal ions such as iron, copper and zinc, and can dissolve oxides on a metal surface. It takes the corrosion inhibition effect by employing a protective film formed by an organic phosphate on the metal surface, still can take good corrosion and scale inhibition effects at 250oC and keeps stable at a high pH, is not easily hydrolyzed, and is not easily decomposed generally under light and heat conditions. The acid and alkali resistance, and the chlorine oxidation resistance are good. And it can form six-ring chelates with metal ions, particularly calcium ions in water, so the scale inhibition effect is relatively good and the threshold effect is obvious.

The Aktiphos AB12X series corrosion and scale inhibitors are widely applied to a circulating cooling water system in power, chemical engineering, steelmaking, steel rolling and other industries for corrosion and scale inhibition. It can be taken as a detergent for metals and nonmetals in light and textile industry, a peroxide stabilizer and a color fixing agent in bleaching-dyeing industry, a complexing agent in cyanide-free electroplating industry and a radioactive element carrying agent in pharmaceutical industry.

Add the Aktiphos AB12X series corrosion and scale inhibitors required in every day to a medical kit, and continuously add the Chemical at an inlet place of a circulating pump (i.e. an outlet place of a water collecting basin) via a dosing pump or a regulation valve; here, the adding concentration of the Aktiphos AB12X series corrosion and scale inhibitors shall be 20-40mg/L (by an amount of makeup water).
d. Packaging and Storage
Package the Aktiphos AB12X series corrosion and scale inhibitors with a plastic barrel based on 25kg/barrel and 30kg/barrel or with an IBC tank or determine as required by the user; keep in a cool dry place; and the shelf life shall be 24 months.
